I used to be a Red Carpet Club member. Then I switched to the Crown Room for free alcohol. Then United Club started offering free swill, then Delta degraded their offerings.

United has never been known for free alcohol and has only offered anything within the last 5 years. For former President's club members this is a huge downgrade but as a whole for United this isn't the same change as it is with Delta.
