So can anyone tell me: does an OpUp always involve something being written onto the new boarding pass? (eg "upgrade due to DUT")

I had an unexpected upgrade a few weeks ago from an UUA'd Y ticket (in other words I was expecting to be in WT+) into CW. Nothing written on the boarding pass.
