In true FlyerTalk fashion I am planning to use my US miles to fly my sweetie off to Montréal for the last weekend of September where I hope to propose marriage to her.

I've got a bunch of Marriott Points and would like to book a nice hotel for the weekend. It looks like my choices are the Springhill Suites Old Montréal, Montréal Marriott Château Champlain, or Residence in Montréal downtown.

Which one do you guys think is the best? It looks like the Springhill Suites might have the best location, but the Marriott Château Champlain might be a little ritzier hotel. Any ideas?
