About two years ago I downgraded to the Options card. Today I called over to switch to something else, since the language on the new Delta signup offers claims you must not have had any card of that family within 90 days.
The rep offered to switch to a Blue card but could not guarantee there would be no credit pull. The language she used made it sound like she would cancel it and then submit an application for the Blue.
Finally acted on this today. Had a more knowledgeable rep this time who confirmed I could change to the "Blue Cash Everyday" with no pull. (This is the card that earns 3% at grocery stores and redeems in cash, so I might actually use it and cash out $50.)
If it ends up resulting in a pull, I'll update here.
