Meanwhile, LGA-ORD is still pretty much
all MD-80s, so you can't miss them there.
I will say that MCE on the MD80, while old-looking, is perfectly tolerable, and the engines being so far back make the experience quieter than the 738 (or other AA equipment).
Question for the knowledgeable: why does AA call them Super 80s on the gate screen?
Edit: Ah, Wikipedia points out that was the plane's name before they were renamed MD-80. Surprised the name still persists.
