I am thinking of having our wedding at Marriott hotel next year. My financee has Platinum status at Marriott, I do not have any special status. We both applied for the Marriott credit card recently. If I’d like the points under my name, would I receive less points (or any other disadvantages) of using my credit card, vs his?
