I'm going to be taking a lot of trains and flights during this trip so I'm looking for a hard shell suitcase. I've been eyeing either the Rimowa salsa 26" or the medium Briggs and Riley Torq. Are there any other suitcases you guys would recommend in that style? My budget is around $6-700us.
I cary a Roncato 26 inch suitcase when I need to check luggage,-it weights 2,3 kilo,and its a hard shell,4 wheel spinner case.Not as sturdy as a alu case,-but its probably the lightest hard shell there is,it also comes in a larger version,still less than 3 kg. Cost me abouth 300 euro in Spain,it is truly a great bag. Its awailable in the US.
