I realize resort fees are proliferating, but when I called Cosmo and asked specifically what the $28 fee includes, access to the pools was the first thing mentioned. I laughed and said that's something that the cheapest Days Inn gives guests for nothing!
I was looking at the cosmo for a friday night stay and they wanted $450 a night for their basic rooms. Its absurd to throw a resort fee on top of that. I haven't been able to find any better deals to do a LNF either. For half the price there are seriously top of the line resorts in vegas with better reviews, so I am not sure if there is some sort of special event that night or what the deal is, but I was taken aback.
