I think the issue is one of impression rather than anything else.
It simply doesn't look good for a supposedly premium facility.
The shower and toilet cubicles are rather horrid. The floor and walling all looks very cheap, and after 5+ years of use, the cracks are definitely beginning to show.
The toilets and showers all need refurbishing pretty soon.
