Gosh .... You are exactly right. Here I've been diligently obeying safety signs all my life and following the instructions of safety officials, when all I really had to do was perform some math.

Let's see .... I can ignore the red light if there is only a 1 in 1000 chance something bad will happen .... don't know like those odds? OK.... let's ignore if 1 in 10000 .... or is it 1 in 100000 ..... or is it 1 in 1000000?

All you advocates of ignoring safety procedures .... what odds are you using?
