I never said about the price I paid for the tickets, only when I was asked about the tight schedule, I gave an answer. And then the financial cost I mentioned is because of the stop-over which I care for myself and thought Emirates could have helped it, thus the reason for starting this thread.

hmmm... .. pampered well enough would have assumed that they paid for the boarding and lodging.. even post #4 assumes that.. If you had to pay for the stay and they only changed your flight to the next day, what does the below sentence mean ? How were you pampered ?
