Another reason I was asking is that when they tried to re-book me through AMS to DUB the next day, Aer Lingus flights were completely sold out, so I had to be routed through CDG, which meant my flight took off 3.5 hours later than the replacement flight the next day AND my layover was longer in CDG AND my flight to DUB was about 35 mins longer from CDG.
