The concern about multiple visits is that the individual is actually living & working here (presumably without the appropriate visa).

While anybody can be denied entry for any reason, it's extraordinarily unlikely that a 2-3 day visit (remember, there's no "transit" in the USA) where your parents have documented onward travel, will raise any eyebrows.
