The revenue per seat is probably double IAH-LHR than it is ORD-HNL. The "500.00 seats" are in coach, and they're more than $500. The problem is not you, it's the 23 others (and potentially, guests) that would clog the club. The PS cabins you mention also have higher percentage of paid First pax. No comparison, plus UA is in pretty good competition for high-value business travelers cross-country. UA doesn't feel it need to improve the experience for the mostly coach fare customers in the front cabin of the Hawaii routes.

"ORD-HNL in First should get lounge access since everything else is so bad on that flight" . Well, not for 23 Joe Schmoes who paid $700 for their coach ticket and are sitting up front for 9 hours. It's a pretty darn good deal for them, lounge access or not...
Service is so bad on this flight now, that anyone who would pay, is crazy. I'm in the minority as it fits the C Class rule for 6+ hour flight. Lounge access would be nice for a paid fare, but I understand the reason with the upgraders.

so if I traveling on ER4 I should get lounge access. Guess I not following the reasoning.

try again, n/s LAX-BOS is at least $3K (V-UP) but can be more -- H-UP (same as your fare) is $4K.
It's still 1K more for 2 more hours.

Seems to be a simple solution, purchase US membership --- but that would be with your money (like some of us do), not OPM.
I used to have a membership paid with my money, but I have better things to spend my money on now. I'm not sure why anyone would pay for it, but each there own. This was a flagship route and was treated as an International flight for many years, but this show's how bad it is now on this route.
I'm not really defending the decision, but people always talk how cheap the fare is, I booked a C class ticket to LHR for 2K, and I got lounge access. 4K to HNL for a longer flight should net some reward.
