There used to be a NetWest at NCL but I don't think it's there anymore. So perhaps banks at airports were more commonplace years ago.
Long memory that one! It's ATMs only now.

For the benefit of future searchers, I was trying to think of banking facilities at any UK airport and I am struggling a bit. However there is a post office in LHR Terminal 3, which allows you to bank cash, cheques and with a PIN card, free of charge cash withdrawals and balance statements. Different services are offered for different banks, but RBS Natwest group only allow withdrawals, cheques and cash cannot be banked. Intriguingly, it used to be one of the few places you can do that on a Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning, but now there are quite a few post offices open on a Sunday.
