You will most likely be able to find a burger in a luxury hotel - but it's likely to be a "wagyu burger" or similar - and priced accordingly. I don't know if this is a luxury hotel - but note that the burger on the dinner menu costs about $26.

And - when you're out during the day - it will probably be hard to "stumble" into places that serve burgers if you're looking above the "fast food" level. Not to mention that knives and forks are as hard to find in Japanese restaurants as chopsticks are in most US restaurants. Robyn
This discussion is better continued in the Japan forum, but may I say that it is completely wrong. If meat-and-potatoes is what you want, you'll find it everywhere in Japan (including Japanese versions, such as chanko-nabe). And if a hamburger is what you want, even if the Cerulean is being artsy-craftsy, there are probably 40+ places within a five minute walk that will meet your needs, including the very good Kua'Aina burger restaurant.
Every Italian restaurant in Japan -- and there are tens of thousands -- uses knives and forks, just for starters.
