Hawaii front cabin fares do not justify lounge access. Add to that the number of front cabin flyers that are in there on upgrades, forgetaboutit. The clubs aren't sized for everyone who wants to go in, so the line needs to be drawn somewhere (except of course, for our friends w/ Mileage Plus credit card passes, who get to step over that line).
I strongly disagree here. I just booked a first class ticket for 3900.00 from ORD-HNL. Not my money, but with a 4K ticket with a 500.00 seat and service, lounge access should be given on a 9 hour flight.
