Also "sold" and "ticketed" are 2 different terms that are not linked. A ticket can be SITI, SITO... (sold in <country of origin of 1st leg> and ticketed in, sold in <country of origin of 1st leg> and ticketed out...) It has been over 10 years since I worked with Intl fare construction. It isn't like riding a bike, where it all comes back to you, so the current systems and processes is beyond my current knowledge. So yes, it *CAN* be ticketed out, but that may not get around the requirement for it to be sold in a particular country/region. Back when paper tickets were the "in thing" and we had to issue pre-paid tickets for people, they would often be "sold" in 1 country, but ticketed in another. (Say your employeer was going to buy you a ticket for use immediatly and couldn't mail them in time, they would "buy" them in their country, and we would issue the ticket in another.) Now that most tickets are electronic, it's rare to do this, as a sale and ticket issuance anywhere is accessable immediatlely anywhere else.
