Apologies if it has been discussed in here and I have missed it, but just upgraded my SFO-LHR flight from WT+ to CW and apart from the usual 12,500 Avios I was charged £120 rather than the previous £60 it used to be.

Has there been a general price increase? I thought the money was just to cover the APD/taxes etc. Wondering why it has doubled.
