I know, it is name that is bizarre, and why those Japanese airlines keep naming airlines in English? It is Japanese airlines and why can they give Japanese name? Also, there was speculation about what remained of Air Asia Japan will be consolidated with Peach which made sense for many. But why ANA keep two separate airlines, Peach and Vanilla? Also, heard on the news that Vanilla will focus on international leisure destination from Narita, which is different than what Air Asia Japan did.
