To Whom it may concern:

I am living in Dubai and I am from Bangladesh. I am going for a vacation in the Philipppines for a month.
My flight will be from DXB to HKG to MNL but someone told me that I need to have a transit visa in HKG.
I called Cathay Pacific Airline office regarding this issue and they told me that I need a transit visa regardless if I will go out or not from airport. When I ask them where can I get the visa, they told me to check in Chinese Embassy.
For almost a week now, I am trying to call the Embassy but no one is available to answer my call, its only the answering machine. I cannot get in touch with the Embassy people. I need to know what is the procedure in application for transit visa. I need to arrange this issue with less than a month. Can I go and get it on the arrival ing HKG airport? Do I need another transit visa for my return as well?
Kindly advice me asap.
