This is well off topic, but I doubt PD will be joining any alliance anytime soon... They simply haven't got the scale. In fact, near as I can tell they don't have any earn/burn airline partners at all...
And the decision to bring an airline into an alliance is as much taken by the alliance itself as it is the new airline--it's not an open programme where an airline can walk up and buy a ticket.
