Bumping this rather old thread: Does anyone have any recent experiences on the most reasonable fixed price private hire firms? In my case it's downtown to MAN and vv. The website of Airportcarz has gone offline. I found Trafford Cars for £15.80 one way. Is that good? I'm not a regular taxi user!
