Quite possibly the best analysis I've read here yet.

Essentially, for current AC mid-tier elites, the question is which of the extremes do we go to?

Do I gun for being a rouge passenger and ride the wave of money saved?

Do I gun for SE with AC? Or more likely, with another airline? (I'm not a domestic carpetbagger.)

Decisions, decisions. All made in the context of my own falling (sponsored) travel, a potential family on the way (more falling travel, essentially, and tighter finances)...

I think at this point it's most likely goodbye AC, hello A3, then be a Rouge (el cheapo fare as God) passenger the rest past 18k miles.
