There's the passport expiry requirement.
There's the number of empty pages requirement.
There's the presence of an Israeli visa requirement.
What else?
Timatic will tell you most stuff.
If you figure 1-1.5 pages per country you're visiting, you'll mostly be safe. 6 months validity is also a safe rule of thumb.
Just remember when getting a new US passport to get the larger version. (52 pages?). It costs the same, and no need to pay for extra pages later.
