My only issue at all, would be that they do seem to be raising prices quite quickly. Things like the 3-day massage package have gone up from ~$800, to now being at least $1200. The private island excursion, something that really doesn't cost the resort much at all, is now prohibitively expensive. And, if true, the recent increase in cost for pool/water villa upgrades is also concerning. I'm not a cheapo when on vacation, but I certainly don't want to get taken advantage of either.
I certainly don't like seeing prices go up either, but on the flipside I recognize the place has to make money. Guess they need to get the balance right. They are certainly not alone, if you compare with say Conrad prices have been on a steep incline there too. I've been looking at going for a while and activity prices seem to go up a steady 10%+ each year. That is quite some inflation

I guess they are all testing how far they can put up prices before demand is cut off
On the plus side the price for diving has not at least gone up since our October visit and this year we actually went ahead and got all our own gear. The charge for renting equipment is a heady $33
per dive.
