I agree with you regarding the Dan and the Intercontinental Tel Aviv. Both hotels have their pros and cons, but overall IŽve found them to be good options. IŽd probably rate both as 4.5* properties, overall solid options, but nothing to get overly excited about.
However, IŽd have to disagree with you regarding Le Meridien Eilat: public areas are average, pool area very unimpressive, the room I stayed in was very dated (albeit spacious), food quite unimpressive, service quite mediocre.
Overall the experience at Le Meridien reminded me more of a 3* resort hotel than a luxury hotel.
