Will BA rebook you without charge if you are detained under the Terrorism Act (2000)?
As we wake up to some news that some of us find deeply disturbing (see OMNI thread), and which BA probably doesn't find very helpful in their uphill battle to sell LHR as a transit point, here is an apolitical question: Clearly, David Miranda was a no-show on the LHR-GIG flight due to an unavoidable engagement. What will have happened when he got out and presented himself at a service desk (assuming he was travelling on a restricted ticket)? Will he get a piece of paper from his interrogators explaining the situation? Will BA just rebook via GRU, and pick up the cost of the domestic connection? Or are you on your own? At least he was spared the afternoon tea service, if he has lounge access.
