For my part, I stay often. Never need help with luggage but they always offer. It's tips, after all!
No Plat upgrade? Did you get lounge access? Points as an amenity? Also, what upgrade did you expect? A one-bedroom suite? (NB you may want to update your profile, which does not indicate you as PLAT!);
TV? Noise? Did you call the front desk?
I would never put up with such stuff! Did you contact hotel management? Write a review on spg.com?
Interestingly, I offered last week to PM hotel contacts. Still zero takers........
