Are the T&Cs clear? I don't want to speak for the OP or for a program I don't know about but it the OP states
ANother hidden term, not disclosed to you before they take your $$, is that you have to stay at 2 different hotels to get any free nights
Are there terms that one only finds out about after paying? If these terms only appear after purchasing, that is a bit dodgy. If they do appear prior to purchasing are they clear? I've run into issues such as OP's where the advertising on the face seems great and only after purchasing when you get to "open" the package do you realize that the advertising doesn't entirely match up with the T&Cs. Note: I am not accusing LHW of doing this, I am just trying to get some more facts here.

I did the program during 2012 and did not renew. Like the higher fee AMEX cards, you have to do your homework before signing up. It either fits or not. It was a good program for one year. Did five stays and redeemed for a night in Hong Kong. Had no problem understanding the terms and conditions before paying the fee.
