OK, pretty funny thread.

As a male, I have a healthy fear of women's purses. I don't like going there. But I have learned that it works best to just manipulate the credit cards in her wallet. I go into the dreaded purse to remove and replace cards as appropriate. I put little stickers on her credit cards (actually, mine too, since it's hard to remember everything) to help her remember when to use a particular card.

We also do the "phone handoff" thing when it is time to cancel an account or see if we can extract some concession to keep an account open. I find that very amusing because, in general, she is much better on the phone than I.

After several years of playing this game, I think she now realizes that I am not going to ruin her credit. It was a common lament in the past, but several flights up front have fixed that.
