That is going to be a killer, unless you're packing just balloons. An empty Topas 56cm case is more than 4.5kg, leaving less than 2.5kg for the contents. A light laptop is going to be about 1.5 kg, even an iPad is over 600g. You're going to have to make every gram count.

I had a fun afternoon playing with a Topas Multiwheel Cabin Spinner 56 in-store yesterday. It is visibly significantly larger than IATA carry on size.
So, for both weight and size reasons, for people flying predominantly Asian and/or Australian airlines, I think it's a non-starter as carry on luggage.
