I use this as my main suitcase. By doing hotel laundry, I have used this as my suitcase on two week trips. I consider my brief case to be my personal item and the MLC to be my carry on suitcase. Since switching to this as my main travel luggage, I have not been challenged on any flights using as a carry on. It easily fits in the overhead compartment of small regional jets, so I don't have to wait on the jet way if there is a tight connection.

I have a 20" tumi roller and a 21 or 22" B&R roller. I have made it a mission to pack light and switch to this bag.....for now, I love it.
