Figured I'd ask this question here first.

Situation: currently, wife and I have an itin already purchased for later this year. Wife has possible business trip that conflicts (one leg of travel would be on the same day, same time as the tix we already bought) and is considering purchasing those tix now. if it turns out she must take that trip, she'd cancel her portion of our currently-bought itin, pay the penalty, and apply credit to something else later.
Question: will United let her buy new tix with that conflict?
