As someone who has taken the vast majority of his trips in economy, I can confidently say I've never seen a Y cabin that really stands out, unlike J and F where things vary wildly from one carrier to another.
To my mind there are essentially two categories of Y cabins: the comfortable kind (generally mainline/longhaul service), and the uncomfortable kind (LCCs, RJs and HD seating configurations). The seat recline, IFE and other details may vary, but the Y cabins can all be reduced to one of those two simple categories regardless of carrier.
