Still in CAN, did the 72hrs TWOV yesterday

In short: CRAP!

Arrived 7.50pm from Bangkok.

Reached immigration 8pm

Then after 5min they couldn't process me and my +1..

They sent someone who apparently spoke English (or not so much)

Tried to explain something like we had not pre-registred or whatever.

Took our passports and went away for 1 hour!

Finally came back.. by now HUGE QUEUE. Complained at the person, we finally got to #1 spot.

After 1 hour, one luggage was missing. For whatever reason they couldn't send to us (hotel over 1 hour away by car!) - we had to pick up today at CAN!

Horrible weather meant 4 hours travel by car, lots of extra expenses, and basically our whole stopover totally killed by CAN..

In short: TWOV does not really work well at CAN. Avoid Guangdong and spend your money somewhere where it is more welcome...
