I checked the brochure, topas is heavier than salsa and the volume is lesser though.
I am guessing from the above that you are based in Asia? If so the weight of the bag is an important consideration. I am based in Australia and regularly fly Australian and Asian airlines with a 7kg limit for carry on bags. You want the weight of the case itself to soak up as little of this allowance as possible. I use the Salsa Air IATA cabin trolley as my carry on luggage for this reason. I wouldn't buy this range for a piece of checked luggage (I am in the market for something a bit heavier) but for carry on it is definitely worth a look.
