Doesn't matter if the person you were responding to does or doesn't fully understand the upgrade procedure (in fact, I don't think anyone here does either). There is a reason Smisek is keeping it opaque, and it's not for our good.

Bottom line is that the current CPU upgrade procedures SUCK from a passenger's perspective. That's all that matters. Even if you understand how it works, it won't help you.
