Personally, unless you don't want to pay a parking fee at the Hilton, I would just return to Hertz LAX in the morning on the way to your departing flight. You are a 5 minute drive, maximum, from the Hilton to Hertz. You'll get an instant receipt. The Hertz buses into LAX are continious...most times another Hertz bus is waiting to take the place of the Hertz bus that leaves for the airport...which will take just another 5-8 minutes until it enters the airport...it's all go-go-go...without any worries you won't make a shuttle or your flight or won't be properly charged...
