I have never heard the driver tell anyone there was a list for the Hilton shuttle at LAX. I have heard the driver turn people away when it is standing room only and it's at terminal 6 or 7. Do not walk the area at night, just go back to the airport, exit at terminal 1, walk downstairs to arrival, catch the Hilton LAX shuttle which will be empty cause it's the first stop. The Hertz LAX back to the Hilton LAX will take at least 30 to 45 mins (more for waiting for the shuttle buses).
