I can easily sleep with my Etymotic hf3 + Custom Fit earmolds. The price for the custom earmolds is ~$100 (plus the earphones) and they are made of this softer silicon, vs. some others that use a hard plastic. Microphonics from the cables aren't bad, and I really like the mic on the cable when using it with a phone. I highly recommend this setup for travel.
