Hello all,

I need help getting 2 coach tickets to DPS via Lax in July 2014. I have been checking the JAL site daily looking for new openings and literally have not seen one seat available. I even search segments through Hong Kong but still have not been able to locate a seat. I also have tried calling AA numerous times (long holding times for little help).

What are some other strategies I can take? I am open to taking whatever airline is available. I have just enough for two roundtrip coach tickets (140,000) and thats it.

I need help with reward booking!

I am currently trying to book a 2 coach tickets from LAX-DPS for July 2014 with my AA miles. I have only enough for coach so upgrading is out of the question. Using the BA website, I am only seeing Malaysian air offering one reward ticket per flight. Cathay seems to be full or not posting any reward seats. JAL has the most options at this time. I have looked up various segments and have found this route LAX-NRT-KUL-DPS open for 2 reward seats.

Should I book via segments? Or wait around to see if I can find a more direct flight as I have plenty of time and have no specific date requirement for travel?
