Yes, but like EL AL, Arkia is also going through a labor dispute and is in the midst of poor financials. Would be interesting to see whether Arkia goes ahead with the 787 order or cancels it. A lot depends on the Nakash Family who own the company. If they want to pump money into it, then the 787's will enter the fleet for sure.
Should Arkia actually start routes to New York and Asia with the 787's and offer reasonable fares, it will be a total game changer for the Israeli civil aviation market.
