That's a little snarky - it's not just about "are we there yet??" but "where are we?" I like to think about what I am flying over. I cannot watch (at least, watch and understand) anything on the IFE because nothing but franco cinema has captions (and I cannot hear the sound track), so I always have the map on either my screen or an adjacent empty seat. It can be surprisingly entertaining.
