Even that can backfire - was going to Verona a while back and took an u/g offer at OLCI, only to get a call from my admin as I walked to the gate to say that our ever helpful travel implant wanted to cancel my hotel and return flight as the original ticket had been cancelled It was all sorted out - eventually.....
