LAN doesn't give a crap about the Montreal Convention, even though all of the countries in which it operates are signatories.

You'd maybe have a shot in the libro de reclamos in Peru but Argentina I have no idea.

When I lost my bags (actually delayed for 4 weeks which is worth more) they gave me US$400 in LAN vouchers.
