The fare change I get completely. No arguments there. However the fare being dropped or sold out doesn't make sense, since that would seem to negate the purpose of the reservation in the first place. Why not only offer unticketed reservations at the full F, J and Y prices then? It seems that the entire point of that text is to allow for the holding of the particular inventory/fare basis.
