I deplaned last week on a small American Airlines ERJ-140. I was halfway through the jetway when I realized I left my phone in the seatback pocket. I turned around and went back to the plane - quickly motioned to the flight attendant that I left something at my seat. I stood off to the side waiting for everyone else to disembark and then I quickly went back to my seat. She didn't have a problem with it.
