That reads quite clearly that the poster is blaming AA for charging the daughter's card without speaking to the daughter despite the poster actually being the one that gave the card number to the agent


There are two ways to interpret the OP's assertion that the daughter's card was charged without permission.

First, that AA charged her card without her permission to make charges to the card and should not have done so at any time.

Second, that the OP initially granted permission to charge the card, but when the charge didn't go through and the reservation disappeared AA never sought permission from any party to re-attempt the charge several days later.

The latter was my takeaway, YMMV.
