Need to burn my last Suite Upgrade Cert: Grand Hyatt Hong Kong or Park Hyatt Beijing?

First of all, this is a more complex issue that one might assume. I am going on this trip next year with a friend of mine, we will be splitting the cost of the rooms and we place a pretty high value on having separate beds. I am pretty determined to stay at both of these hotels (4 nights a piece), and I want to use the Suite Upgrade cert at one of them.

Here are the issues:

1) The Park Suite in Beijing looks perfect, but apparently only comes in a King bed version. It's the obvious and easy upgrade of choice from what I can tell, but the King bed just isn't ideal at all. Are there any two bed suites here that can be attained with a Suite Upgrade cert?

2) The Grand Hyatt Hong Kong renovation is an issue all around. Does anyone know how I can tell which rooms have been renovated and which have not? We definitely would prefer a newly renovated room, whether we use the Upgrade Cert here or not.

3) Same issue here as in Beijing. It seems that twin bed suites attainable by using a Suite Upgrade cert don't exist. Is this the case? Worst case scenario I was thinking maybe we could do a basic "Grand Twin" room and use the Suite Upgrade to snag a "Club Harbour Twin"? But is this the best course of action? Seems like a rather wimpy upgrade compared to the Park Suite in Beijing.

Any advice, large or small, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
